'Captain F. R. P. Milbank, only son of Sir Powlett-Milbank, of Barningham Park, and son-in-law of the late Brigadier-General Wilson, of Cliffe Hall, has been transferred from the 4th Yorkshire to the 24th Provisional battalion.  He joined the Green Howards on the same day as his brother-in-law, Lieut.-Colonel Murrough J Wilson, last year, and like that officer had previously served in the Yorkshire Hussars Yeomanry.'
