According to the Teesdale Mercury, October 1918, Christopher had been missing in action since April that year.

Records show that he died in March 1918 and was buried at Tyne Cot Cemetery. CWGC give date as 17th April

Family Details:

Son of RH and MA Dobson of Millbank Arms, Barningham.

It was reported in the Teesdale Mercury in October 1918 that Christopher's brother, R.H. Dobson had been wounded for the second time in both thighs.
