Second son of Thomas and Sarah Bainbridge, who lived at 9 Hude Terrace, Middleton-in-Teesdale. Died within months of older brother Charles.
Held as a prisoner of war in Germany, where he died in late 1917. A scholar at the Middleton primitive Methodist Sunday School.
